Invincible is the tenth and final studio album by American recording artist Michael Jackson. It was released on October 30, 2001, by Epic Records. The album was the first release of new Jackson material since Blood on the Dance Floor: HIStory in the Mix in 1997, the first studio album in six years since HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I in 1995, and the first studio album of all new material since Dangerous in 1991. Jackson, Rodney Jerkins, R. Kelly and Teddy Riley received producing and writing credits, among others. Similar to Jackson's previous material, Invincible explores themes such as love, romance, isolation, media criticism, and social issues. Invincible received generally mixed reviews from contemporary music critics. The album's singles were incomplete in their release. Jackson was able to use these conflicts as leverage to exit his contract early.

Greatest Hits 1970–2002 is a career-spanning collection of Elton John's biggest hits up to 2002. It was released in an alternate 3-CD version (as opposed to the usual 2-CD) and slightly different versions in the United States and the United Kingdom.
The album debuted on the Billboard 200 chart at number 12 on 30 November 2002. It spent 67 weeks on the chart. It was certified gold and platinum in December 2002, 2x platinum in March 2003, 3x platinum in August 2004 and 4x and 5x platinum in February 2011 by the RIAA.
It was the first Elton John compilation released since the time that PolyGram, which had controlled the pre-1976 Elton John catalogue, was sold to Universal Music Group, which controlled the post-1976 recordings. Prior to 1992, rights to John's music had been complicated as they shifted between various companies. UMG now owns worldwide distribution rights to all of John's music, while sharing overall ownership with John himself.
The CD omits the #1 Adult Contemporary hit "Mama Can't Buy You Love" from The Thom Bell Sessions (top 10 in 1979).

The album is inspired by Sting’s forthcoming play of the same name and explores the central themes of homecoming and self-discovery, drawing upon his memories of growing up in the shadow of the Swan Hunters Shipyard in Wallsend. His personal reminiscences illuminate universal truths – the complexity of relationships, the passage of time and the importance of family and community – to form an affecting, complex parable for our modern times.
The play, in which Sting has been creatively immersed for nearly three years, debuts on Broadway in 2014 and is a collaboration with Tony Award winners Joe Mantello (director; Wicked, Other Desert Cities), John Logan (writer; Red, Skyfall) and Brian Yorkey (writer; Next to Normal)."The Last Ship" tells the story of the demise of the shipbuilding industry in 1980s Newcastle which had, for so long, shaped and overshadowed the city, its development, and its community.

Zespół Enej to obok Afromental najbardziej rozpoznawalny zespół z Olsztyna.

Although keyboards dominated Rush's 1988 double live set A Show of Hands, it's a definite improvement over its somewhat flat predecessor, 1981 's Exit...Stage Left. The band's music isn't as hard rock-based as it previously was, evidenced by the more modern-sounding compositions selected for this third live album (the first Rush album to be produced completely by the band). The only tracks from the pre-1982 period to be featured are "Closer to the Heart," which is expanded to include a jamming section at the end, and the spooky "Witch Hunt," originally from 1981's Moving Pictures. The remainder of the album's track list is comprised of Rush's best compositions from 1982-1987, such as "Subdivisions," "Distant Early Warning," "Force Ten," "Time Stand Still," and "Red Sector A," as well as several tracks that have been forgotten over time ("Marathon," "Turn the Page," "Mission," etc.). Also featured for the first time on a live Rush album is a completely unaccompanied drum solo by Neil Peart -- the intricate "Rhythm Method." The inspired A Show of Hands is an excellent snapshot of Rush in concert during the mid- to late '80s.

For You is the debut studio album by Prince. Released on April 7, 1978 (two months shy of his 20th birthday) and bearing the soon-to-be classic tag "Produced, arranged, composed, and performed by Prince," the album is generally regarded as a promising but somewhat insubstantial early effort. The album peaked at #163 on the US Pop Charts (#21 R&B), and would go on to sell 430,000 copies domestically (983,000 copies worldwide).

After veering sharply from the blues inluences of their debut, This Was, Jethro Tull's sound quickly coalesced around jazz-tinged English folk influences and the antics of frontman/flautist Ian Anderson. But it was guitarist Martin Barre's swaggering riff off the title track of the band's fourth album that would become Tull's indelibly clichéd trademark--and the band's entrée into a long reign as arena-rock perennials. But there's a lot more to Aqualung than the riffage of that cut and its cousins, "Cross-Eyed Mary" and "Locomotive Breath." In an era when pseudo-Christian spirituality was a de rigueur, if cheap, musical commodity (from the overblown operatics of Jesus Christ Superstar to one-hit pop wonders such as "Spirit in the Sky" and "Put Your Hand in the Hand"), Anderson and company openly challenged the value of organized religion with a thematic album savvy enough to layer its thought-provoking lyrics between heavy strata of FM-friendly guitar bedrock. A cliché, perhaps; a landmark, no doubt. And a record many maintain is still Tull's finest hour. -- Jerry McCulley

Mutinysunshine album by Talkdemonic was released Jan 10, 2006 on the Lucky Madison label. "Coming from Portland label Lucky Madison, Talkdemonic's debut release, Mutiny Sunshine, highlighted the promise and originality which can be found in bedrooms, basements, and smaller, upstart labels. Mutinysunshine songs Largely a one man effort, Kevin O'Connor mixed together beats, loops, samples, guitar, viola, flute, synthesizer, and live drumming to create an immediately accessible album for fans of both rock and electronic music. Mutinysunshine album Though Talkdemonic may best be known for the drumming played over the tracks, the programming, beats, and instrumentation brought together a complete sound on Mutiny Sunshine, providing a consistency lacking on many first releases. From the cozy and forlorn title track to the grand optimism of "Andean Twilight," the album proved to be versatile and multifaceted, fitting many moods and environments. With a first-rate debut and an impressive live show, O'Connor has situated himself to be positioned in a flighty echelon of up-and-coming musicmakers
